Writing a Research Paper About Drugs

Writing a Research Paper About DrugsHave you ever wanted to write a research paper about drugs? I had a student the other day who wanted to write such a paper. She wanted to know what it was like to be on drugs, why they work and why so many people use them. When I asked her what she wanted to write about, she said she wanted to write about the side effects of drug abuse. I told her that I doubted she would come up with an interesting report because the side effects she was going to talk about would have been familiar to her. As far as I was concerned, she had no research to do at all. So I asked her if she wanted to write something about the brain function involved in some of the effects of the drug. But she didn't want to write about that either. What she wanted to do was to write a research paper about drugs, a report for the medical journals. It was clear from her personality that she wanted to get into drug rehabilitation and what this meant for addicts to avoid drug dependence an d addiction. So I told her that she would have to write about those things herself. And I told her I would help her write it if she wrote something about the side effects. She wanted to help the addicts by explaining how they worked. The first thing that we have to do is to understand what abuse is. Abuse is a chronic state that is characterized by the psychological and physical dependency to a specific drug. This is something that you have to deal with. The medical profession has to do something about it, and this is where we come in. It is possible that you might be addicted to drugs, but that doesn't mean that you will necessarily end up dependent on them.We are not all professionals in the medical industry. We are laymen, so we should not expect to know everything there is to know about the subject. If we need to know about certain side effects, then we have to learn it from other sources. We should do our research and gather information from other sources before we tackle the sub ject of drug dependency.Medical researchers cannot conduct studies that focus on long-term effects of drugs because the safety of their subjects is in jeopardy. But I can't really blame them.We cannot possibly know enough about how drugs work in order to treat addiction to them. But we can know a lot about the effects of drugs. In that way, we can develop better ways to help people beat addiction. We can also educate people about the value of these drugs.
